The Weight of Some Questions

  1. OBSERVATIONS
    1. The biological definition of life is a self-sustaining chemical system capable of Darwinian evolution. Continual growth preceding death distinguishes live subjects from inorganic matter. Species are not immutable. At the center of Darwin’s observations were Finches. They will never know their legacy, yet because of these birds, I know I will always live in the shadow of my environment, Even the existence of altruism is a survival mechanism. Decent people have ulterior motives.
    2. Darwin, assuming to have discovered the value of life along with its origin, cautioned against wasting time. Every moment has an establish purpose. Funerals should be held for each passing minute

  2. QUESTIONS
    1. If bad intentions yield good results, and most success is corrupt, then, is our nature characterized by malice? If yes, do we acquire our evil or was it inside of us all along? How? Why?
    2. Is it more important to fulfill your biological purpose, the aspirations your parents have for you, or your own trivial ambitions? Why are they so different?
    3. If, by its biological definition, life requires the ability to remain in a healthy state without outside assistance, and I spend most of my time waiting for the sky to open up, then, am I exempt from this criteria or am I considered unalive?
    4. How will I ever learn how to be like other people?
  3. HYPOTHESIS
    1. If our survival provisions cause mass extinction, then evolution gave rise to our malevolence, because we are not exempt from the process of natural selection.
    2. If a human is good, then it is due to an evolutionary advantage, because all living things are manipulated by their environment.
    3. If you force meaning onto your life, then you will grow to see yourself as a disappointment, because it will never be enough to fill the vacancy,
    4. If I require medication in order to function in society, then(this is like confessing murder), I am an error in human evolution, because had I existed prior to the invention of pharmaceuticals, I would have surrendered by now,
  4. EXPERIMENT
    1. Hamilton’s rule is a proposed equation that reduces human altruism into the language of natural selection. It claims specific traits are chosen if the cost to self (C) is less than the benefit of others (B) multiplied by relatedness (R). There is no consensus on what the values of C, B, and R should be. Hamilton’s rule cannot make predictions. It only provides explanations for existing data. Please remember this,
    2. If the light had hit the trees a certain way, my motives would not stem from a resistance to humanity. It had been the center of how I think all my life. The extent of which altruism is determined by natural selection remains unknown. Human bias corrupts empirical research. Our intentions become more ambiguous as we progress.
    3. An undisclosed subject performs a display of madness. They provide a spectacle. The audience must observe. Soon, it will be their turn.
